EVANSVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - A missing 16-year-old girl who had been missing since Friday was located and is safe, law enforcement reported in an update.

Overnight, the Evansville Police Dept. issued an endangered missing person alert for Hana Williams, who was believed to be with an unknown person from Madison.

In the update about Williams’ being found, authorities did not note if there was a traveling companion nor did they say where the teen was located.

According to police, Williams’ mother claimed she was told her daughter was going on a camping trip, which the mother said was a lie and she believed Williams, who also goes by Storm, has run away.
