MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, on a round-about at North Thompson Drive near Highway 30, according to MPD.

Police say a vehicle traveling at high speeds crashed into a motorcycle on the round-about, then the suspect ran away from the scene.

The 48-year-old motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

MPD is still searching for the suspect.
